Our contributions
Our main focus in Coastal Treasures is to decrease the amount of harmful Sargassum seaweed from beaches. We achieve this through the creation of our products and our educational fieldtrips.

We address and alleviate the problem of Sargassum by taking it off of beaches using a green method that doesn't include heavy machinery, chemicals, or invasive species. Our removal of excess Sargassum in beaches not only revitalizes those marine ecosystems, but also stimulates the touristic economy. This stimulation in turn helps coastal towns profit and grow from our joint contribution, customer and company, to relocate and repurpose Sargassum seaweed.

Field Trip
Our company hosts educational field trips for students from underprivileged schools in coastal communities, allowing them to
participate in environmentally beneficial activities related to seaweeds and the coast. During the trips, the students learn about the importance of seaweeds for various purposes and the value of preserving them. Additionally, students engage in clean-up activities focused on extracting seaweed and trash from local beaches. The collected seaweed is used to manufacture our products, benefiting the local community and generating awareness about coastal environment.

We host trips on a monthly basis for schools in South Florida. We
offer trips for students in elementary and middle school, grades 2-8.
